Inzalo Communication has been named the gold and silver winner for PR Campaign of the Year in the Best in Biz Awards 2012 EMEA – Gold for Nelson Mandela Day 2011 and Silver for Nelson Mandela Day 2010. EMEA is the only independent international business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts.
For the last two years, Nelson Mandela Day has been a project very close to Inzalo’s heart and it is the company’s inspiring PR campaigns which have played a significant role in helping Mandela Day grow momentum, globally. In a nutshell, Mandela Day is a campaign which encourages people the world over to give back to those in need and help uplift impoverished communities. The principal of Mandela Day is to inspire people around the world to give of their time to do good, in big or small ways, for those who need it. This “moment” of giving is reminiscent of the generous human spirit and how, on a collective level, we can make a difference, hence the campaign’s slogan: Take action, inspire change, make everyday a Mandela day!
“We believe in the concept and the principles of Nelson Mandela Day and that we are able to support an initiative that the Great Man started is an honour,” comments Bridget von Holdt, Executive Director, Inzalo Communication.
Best in Biz Awards 2012 EMEA honours were presented in a variety of categories, including Best Overall Company of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Enterprise Product of the Year, Small/Medium Business Product of the Year and PR Campaign of the Year.
