Entries have opened for The Bookmarks, SA’s annual digital media and marketing awards. The Bookmarks – endorsed by the Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA) – will offer awards in 43 categories. That’s nearly three times the 15 on offer in 2009.
Entries close on October 15. The awards will be presented in Cape Town on November 18.
The Bookmarks are in their third year. Awards chair Nikki Cockroft, who is also DMMA vice-chair, says: “We have used the feedback we received in the previous two years of the awards to refine the Bookmarks categories and criteria, ensuring that the awards cater for the entire digital industry in SA.
“Teams and individuals across a range of online publishing and marketing disciplines can earn recognition for excellence. We hope that we will create role models for young people entering the field by highlighting the accomplishments of the best people in our industry.”
