It must be frustrating to hold the account for one of the few car brands increasing sales in a collapsed market, and you can't tell anyone about it. Singh & Sons does the advertising for Kia, which is growing strongly in SA and elsewhere. But Associated Motor Holdings, which imports the brand, won't disclose sales for strategic reasons.

The agency seems to have found a stable income pipeline to see it through the recession. About 60% of income is retainer based, and 70% of project work is for brand strategy projects. Billings grew 36%.

It's also reassuring that all new business acquired last year was based on credentials presentations and recommendations from clients. The agency pitched for no business. Only three years old, it was spotted early on as a potential winner.
