JWT is one of those names you feel should have a higher profile - given its heritage. True, there are some awards that have been attained along the way. However, there's a general sense of creative underachievement.

But look beneath the surface and JWT - whose activities include through-the-line, digital, activation, in-store and specialist youth marketing - is going along quite comfortably. Its blue-chip client list is loyal. Jo'burg agency MD, Judy van Dam, is highly rated.

Last year it was commissioned to provide international TV and print campaigns for Lux. It won a global project for Smirnoff. And Shell used it for a reputation management project in nine African countries. Total revenue grew 14%.
