Proving that last year's outstanding creative performance was no flash in the pan, FoxP2 continues to collect awards like confetti, including a grand prix at the Loeries (for architectural design at its own new offices) and eight Ad of the Month awards last year. The agency has also started to make an impression at international awards shows.

Clients are clearly impressed. The Cape Town agency attracted more than R9m in new billings, which translated into a 23% increase in revenue. Drinks group Brandhouse, one of its biggest clients, is giving it additional work. Harley-Davidson and MWeb were also sources of major new business.

Thom is both proud and disappointed that a campaign for Frisco coffee contributed to such unexpected sales that the client couldn't meet demand and flighting of a new TV ad had to be postponed.
