It may not grab the headlines like some smaller competitors, but this is an agency to be reckoned with. Why else would top clients such as Standard Bank, Tiger Brands, Nissan, Unisa, Neotel and the Reach For A Dream Foundation tie their fate to its steady hand? Recently they were joined by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), SA National Roads Agency and Mpumalanga Tourism.

The appointment of Kuzwayo as group CEO in January this year is expected to benefit all three TBWA agencies in SA. His time as Jo'burg MD coincided with the capture of several major accounts.

During the period under review, TBWA collected three new accounts: the national health department's Khomanani health initiative, Distell and the Tiger Brands designer group. However, the R55m gained from these was outweighed by the R70m that disappeared with the loss of the National Lottery and International Marketing Council.
