Talk to most people in the industry and they will tell you this is one of the up-and-coming agencies. It's only a couple of years old and has no creative pedigree yet to speak of, but it's developing a reputation as an imaginative, dedicated shop.
The market clearly agrees. Revenue doubled last year to more than R10m - not bad in the overcrowded Cape Town market. Nearly two-thirds of that is from contractual fee-based agreements. As the agency gets bigger, however, it will be harder to maintain this growth.
New accounts last year included Donna Claire, Foschini Group Services, Pongracz and the @home houseware group. Total billings were worth an extra R12,5m.
After Kia, the agency's biggest accounts are Prudential Portfolio Managers, Distell Wines, Lindt Chocolates and Donna Claire.
