As the strategic consultancy arm of Lowe Bull, Oil enjoyed strong financial growth last year, benefiting from opportunities within the group client base. The growth allowed the agency to open a Cape Town office, which it hopes will bring new business.
Highlights of the year included the successful repositioning of the Stork brand, and winning all the pitches it entered. New clients during the review period were SAB Media, Castle Milk Stout, vehicle tracker Tracetec and Korean property developer Onse. At the other end of the scale, Oil lost Nando's as a result of the client's split with Lowe Bull.
Oil's biggest clients are Unilever, Coca-Cola, SA Breweries, Industry Association for Responsible Alcohol Use and Lowe Bull Cape Town.
