Management have been talking to the Interpublic Group about buying back control of the agency and returning it to independence. At the time of writing, an announcement was expected soon.

The agency achieved all its key targets last year, says MD Leck. It doubled its number of creative points, exceeding the target of 2 500. It retained all its clients, and independent client reviews showed the highest confidence ratings ever. In an industry notable for high turnover, it kept all its key staff. And it won new business, including Nintendo, HTC/Leaf and Roman's Pizza. The newcomers added annual billings of more than R50m. Revenue grew 25%. The agency also developed a one-stop shop offering, with above-, below- and through-the-line activities.

The agency's five biggest clients are Clover, eBucks, HTC/Leaf, Tracker and Nintendo.
