It's been another excellent year for this young agency, which - but for a glitch in the AdFocus entry process - might have repeated its 2007 achievement of being among the finalists for the agency of the year. Awards last year included an outdoor Cannes Bronze Lion, a first place in the international BMW awards, a pair of Loeries, and a number of winners in the Creative Circle ad of the month awards.

Account highlights included the R6m Investec account, and being invited to pitch for business from BMW in Germany. The result: Ireland/Davenport learnt recently it had been successful in winning its first international pitch.

Other new accounts last year were Nashua Mobile, Scooters Pizza, Coca-Cola and Graham Beck. On the downside, the agency lost CTM and SAB.

Revenue last year grew to R47m from R33m.
