Trading as HDI Youth Marketeers, the agency - 100% owned by Liesl Marie Loubser - specialised in branding and marketing to young South Africans. Its short-term ambitions, though, include African expansion.
HDI was restructured this year into two business units: insight and action. The insight unit has an in-house research team that provides clients with the latest in youth trends. Much of this is based on two annual research studies on brand communications and media consumption, using feedback from about 3 000 respondents.
The action unit develops and delivers campaigns on behalf of clients. These may include schools programmes, roadshows, mall events and various experiential happenings.
