FoxPwho? Many might have asked that question a couple of years ago. Not any more. FoxP2 - barely four years old - has catapulted into the top league of SA creative agencies. In 2007 it won three gold Loeries, four silvers and five bronzes.
This year the haul included five golds, three silvers and two bronzes.
New accounts in the past year include Coronation Fund Managers, Entyce Beverages (Five Roses, Freshpak, Trinco, Frisco, among others), Brandhouse's Singleton whisky, the Dairy Consumer Education Project, and 24.com. In all, that's an enticing R108m extra in brand marketing budgets. Agency revenue from July 2007 to June 2008 more than trebled to R9,3m from the previous year's R2,6m.
As FoxP2 continues to grow - and it is showing every sign of doing so - it will have to change its business model. Before long it will move from being a black economic empowerment-exempt micro-enterprise.
