Health-care branding and communications requires a specialist hand and Fine has persuaded many of SA's leading health-care groups it is the one to provide it. Discovery Health, Reckitt Benckiser, Lifescan, Janssen Cilag, Johnson & Johnson and Kimberley-Clarke are the latest to sign on the dotted line.
Projects include branding various medications, a health-care professionals communications strategy and implementing a "glucometer" campaign, prelaunch market research, a women's health project and a handwashing campaign.
So it was surprising to see Fine take a slightly different direction last year by also winning the account to develop marketing and advertising campaigns for electrical company Radiant Lighting. Then again, maybe it was a forward-looking decision. SA's garlic-loving former health minister was still in place at the time, so who knows what was in store for health-care companies?
