The agency says an economic downturn in KwaZulu Natal affected everyone. But that didn't stop Draft from picking up a handful of new clients. One is Ruwaad, a Dubai-based property development company that plans to invest R20bn in a mixed-used development called Amazulu World on the KZN north coast. Other additions were Decorland, Vodacom CI, Oubaai CI, Vodacom KZN and Zimbali's Fairmont Hotel.

The new accounts were worth an extra R15,2m in billings, resulting in agency revenue growth of 15%.

Creatively, the highlights were a couple of outdoor ads of the month.

The agency's biggest clients are Nivea, Mass Discounters, Trellidor, Rainbow Chickens and Corobrik.
