Given the size of the Draft group in SA and the tight Cape Town market, the agency has made it its mission to concentrate on client retention and organic growth. However, with a 25% revenue increase and the addition of three major clients - V&A Waterfront, Pepsi below-the-line and Spur Steak Ranches - it's been another good year.

New business added another R55m in billings and helped increase agency revenue by 25%. Staff numbers grew 17% to cope with the new business.

Creatively, the agency collected enough awards to be quietly pleased but not big-headed. These included a gold Loerie on behalf of Die Burger. Draft asks: "We wonder when last an Afrikaans ad was recognised at the Loeries?"

The agency's main accounts are Distell (13 brands), Santam, Momentum, Polka and Elizabeth Arden.
