This strategic brand and design agency, which moved into new offices in May, describes itself as one of the five most successful agencies in Africa. Besides offices in Cape Town and Jo'burg, it has a presence in Kenya, Nigeria and Botswana, as well as in Dubai and the UK.
Its biggest success in the past year was winning the Universal Postal Union (UPU) account. This requires it to design and implement a single brand in 191 countries for the body, which is headquartered in Switzerland.
Other accounts won include the Johnnie Walker stand design and event management for the Whisky Live Festival; brand identity development and roll-out for Be-Mobile; and the same for King Edward VII school in Johannesburg. The agency pitched for five accounts between July 2007 and June 2008, winning four. Total value of new business was R25m.
After Celtel/Zain, its biggest accounts are Be-Mobile, Natrodale, UPU and KWV.
